Food is more on the average and the service was exceptionally slow. Few hiccups like the kids chicken dippers came with peas instead of ordered beans. And the bread was left off of the breakfast brunch.I do not doubt all the super reviewes for this place perhaps today was not our lucky day. In any event we do not plan to return.
We stopped here on off chance for lunch following a hike. The views around the tearoom are lovely, the atmosphere is casual and friendly. The food was surprisingly good. Everything was freshly sourced, I had the Ploughman's meal and it came with a massive slab of fresh cheese. It was a lot more food, of a higher quality, than I expected for the price.
