No calls being answered, no emails being responded to.....Alumen have gone into Liquidation
I'm running small construction company in London. Almost twelve weeks ago I have ordered lean-to conservatory. Service including manufacturing, supply and install. Last couple of month I was talking to Alumen team and was trying to get responsible person to my project/order. Have to admit that never had the right person to talk to who could provide to me the progress being done to my order. At the time of placing an order I was told that all process should take from 8 to 10 weeks to complete my order. Later I was informed that it can take up to 12 weeks.Today, 11weeks and 4 day after sighing contract with Alumen Limited, I wrote an email to the Mr. Lee who is sales agent at Alumen Limited with a request to provide me with installation date. Response was: "Everything has been cut and is scheduled for manufacture this week. We just have no installation days left this side of the year, due to the extreme level of jobs we have."When I was ordering conservatory Mr. Lee was informed that conservatory installation date is decisive to the the project completion date and he agreed to help me out with my order.Today I tried to talk to company director, but no one was available to talk to me. I was told that somebody will get in touch with me but no one did. And I still don't know who is in charge of this company. Somebody has made a big mess with my order and it's obvious that no one is available to put it right.If anyone is planning to place an order with this company please read carefully agreement you signing. Agreement does not state/provide any lead times for the services Alumen Limited is providing.Best,R. Dovydenas
Awful service and doors do not work. Issue after issue. Glass not fitting correctly, locks fitted don't work.... Worse mistake we ever made spending 4K on doors with this company. Took a year before initial install issues where resolved and still having problems.
