love it I cycle down and then walk along the river lots of dog walkers and people you meet polite friendly a nice walk and the wildlife good and in one field lots of ponies you can go up to stroke and new born goals adorable recommend for a walk
Fine place to walk your dogs if the weather is fine
Very peaceful place to spend some time. There is the occasional train that you can watch speed past but it is not too distracting.
Although called a pocket park, it does lack a sense of 'being looked after' and I think there are areas to run around but the river runs alongside so children do require supervision. There are tables and benches, but these need a little bit of attention. There is a fantastic weir and that is lovely. Also, close to the St Pancras line if you like waving at train drivers, and you can play pooh sticks on the bridge. Worth a visit, especially in summer. Oh, and piebald ponies roam around.
Beautifully peaceful. Good for a meander or a dog walk also good for kids to let off some steam. The river is clean and clear with aquatic life to see, lobsters, fish etc. Plenty of seats and benches for resting or just simply taking in the beautiful surroundings. Majority of people who visit are very friendly along with their dogs. The upkeep of the park is excellent, no rubbish or bags of dog poop anywhere. Highly recommended to anyone.
