service fantastic, lunch gorgeours. so already booked up for Sunday Lunch. Recommend anytime.
Excellent meal. Very friendly and helpful staff. I had liver bacon and sausage and my companion had old spot sausage and mash. Excellent.
Very quiet in the afternoon weekdays. Is going through a renovation at the moment. Shall reopen again mid to late October. Risky investment.? Doesn't work out.? Demolition for new flats I hear. Lets hope the investment works out for the best. Great place for a family meal.
Went here for a celebratory meal with my family as I just got accepted into a new job, the Beeswing itself had recently been done up and we had received multiple good reviews from our friends so we decided to go there for our meal. Starting with the interior, it was very modern with a homely feel, the atmosphere was calm and welcoming. Moving onto the staff and service, the staff were very friendly and helpful however 2 of the staff members that night kept running around after each other and messing about, which was very annoying, the service was very slow which was surprising since the restaurant was barely populated. Onto the food, due to my sister having a severe peanut allergy we always have to ask the restaurant if they have any nuts present and if it can be kept away from our food, the waiter said that "there is nothing to worry about", so we ordered and after about 40 minutes our food came out, the main and the starter was delicious (attached), we then had dessert which came out another 30 minutes after we had finished the main. It was very nice, however, something that annoyed me and my family very much was that when we ordered my sister some ice cream another waiter came out and told us "I'm incredibly sorry but the chef can't guarantee that our products don't have traces of peanuts in" this was really bad as we had already eaten our main after we were originally told we had nothing to worry about of course this shook up my sister who is only 9. So whilst the food was nice the fact they couldn't guarantee no nuts was totally unacceptable restaurants should know where their ingredients come from!!
Very poor service. There over 2 hours for one course. Had to ask several times for a drinks order. Charged for mushrooms which we ordered but did not receive. Food was great, decoration very pleasant but service needs to be sorted as at the moment could not recommend it.
