Friendly staff, nice decor and atmosphere. Martin had the beer batter fish and chips, I had ham, eggs and chips. We both enjoyed our meals.
Excellent value. The food exceeded my expectations for a family wacky warehouse type of place. Staff were very friendly and attentive.
Woman I believe to be the manager short brown hair, extremely rude when me and my partner came in, have you can have her be the first person customer are greeted by i don't know.Dirty under tables and table not even set so we had dinner and no cutlery so had to wait for that. Dirty menus very sticky, no drinks menu.I wouldn't return again. They need to invest in a better cleaner!
Large venue with plenty of seating and a good sized car park. The food is average quality but a good range. A carvery is also available at select times. Prices are average pub prices. Usual range of drinks. The cake selection is worth checking out with some impressive choices that change from time to time
It's a marstons pub so most the food is standard to their menus. But the reason you come to the trading post is the carvery. I have been dozens of times and every time the meal has been outstanding. The meats are tasty. The roast potatoes are perfect. The only one I can find fault with is the stuffing is sometimes like jelly. (I do like my stuffing crispy though) Good selection of drinks and friendly staff as well. Oh and don't forget to save room for dessert. But if you don't you can take a huge portion home with you from the cake stand next to the bar. Don't miss out on those
