Found this place completely by accident driving around trying to find a place for a bite to eat and a coffee on a long drive from Cheltenham to Suffolk. Nice airy building with amazing views of landscape from balcony. Efficient service. Excellent veggie brunch. Beats the cr@p out of Little Chef for sure
A most enjoyable experience. Food is good. Staff friendly. But you must not be on a hurry as it gets very busy.
I come here often for lunch. There is a fairly standard set menu but the specials, which change daily, are the ones to go for. Well prepared, delicious food. A list of about eight indulgent puddings is available. It is a popular place and larger parties should book but they can usually squeeze in two, especially if you arrive early and sometimes on a shared table. The staff a great and service is quick if you want and slower if that is your preference. Lovely views across the fields to Thorpe Malsor and a balcony to sit out on in good weather.
This is a really really nice tea room. Great location, staff and choice of food and drink. All freshly cooked on request, can see that ingredients are of good quality and well sourced. I mainly get desserts here... oops... looooove the Pavlova! But i had lunch a couple of times as well as afternoon tea and its all been well prepared and presented.
Great food, good selection of cakes. Service extremely good worth a visit. However 1 member if staff needs to go on a customer service course extremely rude when taking my order and transaction. Which is a shame as every one else are lovely.
