Awful place.ive been suffering with chest pains for a month but no doctor gives a dam.you need a suitcase with a couple of grand in to get a doctor here to bother.the arrogance of the doctors here is shocking.avoid at all cost.i only go here cause every place else is full.
The nurses are friendly and helpful thru the phone and in the surgery too. Most of the time we phoned we got to see a doctor same day. The appointments were on time(up to 15min late) although once it happened that I was sitting and waiting for two hours. The car park within the surgery is almost always full due to its limitations, on the street in front of the surgery is free to park a car for two hours with little luck a space can be found not far from the surgery. I would advise not to take prescriptions to the local pharmacy within the surgery, the waiting time is just too long and most of the time there will be a que. And finally the most important thing the doctors, well it really depends on your luck and who you get see who will threat you. On scale from 0 to 5 there are some doctors who deserve top rating and they are great in any way, but there are also unfortunately ones who should get a -1(yes its a negative). All together I would recommend this surgery, because of the nurses, because its high tech and modern and because its 10times better than my previous surgery in Bedford.
Lovely ladies on the reception always so helpful and polite can use the online service to book appointments and I can choose the time that suits me the best
I called in for a repeat prescription that I am already on-- a woman called Alison answered incredibly unhelpful tried explaining I am working 7 to 7 shifts and that I was told that I would not need to come to surgery since last time I was told that i have repeat prescription and all I have to do was to call and pick it up from Boots which is my registered pharmacy-- its like hitting a brick wall trying to explain this to this incredibly unhelpful woman who said she was trying to "help" me by saying I need to take time off in order for me to be able to get my medication. Please tell me where in this is your staff helping me? If anything this Alison woman took it so personally she made it her sole purpose to make it very difficult for me-- I shouldn't be crying to get my meds its inhuman and I think this woman should do us a favour and leave this surgery job because as I can gather being helpful is the least of her virtues. Please send help someone as I am struggling to book time off in this short notice but I need my medications. What a world we live in where woman like Alison could get away with this in the name of "helping" a customer.
I have only ever been with this surgery, and I thought it was normal to have to wait weeks for appointments! Normal to ring up in the morning to be told they are full and there is no chance of seeing a doctor! When in fact my partner who is at another local GP will be able to get these issues dealt with that very day. This is a poor surgery, I would not recommend to anyone.
