We were in need of a newer car due to our old diesel breaking down yet again, we turned up at Forest Gate Vauxhall in Kettering and were greeted by Louis who was very helpful, and had exactly the car we were looking for. They took our old car of our hands and Louis the sales man even loaned me his own car so that I could get to work until my new car was ready. When I did go to pick up our new car, Louis was very helpful, everything was done for me, tax, transfer of old car, registering new owner etc. Very happy with the service so far. **Update, Forest Gate in Kettering is now closed, nearest branch is Corby**

Focussed on sales, initially was fantastic, however as with most dealers when something goes wrong they show true colours. Contradicting information on what is covered under warranties, Read the non existent small print before you sign. I was told a charge would be made for an inspection when I asked them to look at my car if no fault was found, this was 70+, I'm not a mechanic, I had it under cover so this made no sense!!!They completed an inspection and rated my breaks as RED, for dangerous, it has done less than 10000 miles since bought from them so should be covered by Network Q Wear and Tear Brakes, Battery and clutch cover. First I was told that wear and tear wasn't covered then eventually they agreed it was, bad training there or trying to get me to pay again, but apparently the brakes were not sufficiently dangerous, it was rated red, lowest on their own inspection, or was this a lie to try and get me to pay for them, surely not misleading on that side too. I was advised it was advisable to have breaks replaced if I was paying, but they were not worn enough to be done under cover, not sure what is worse than red on their inspection, will upload the sheet photo.Got told I would need to use their own noted RED rated breaks for around 1500 miles (or until the cover was over I think she was implying) until they would be sufficiently dangerous and require replacing under the warranty!!! Failure in a duty of care I would have thought.Feeling very mislead and cheated. AVOID!!!
