Great customer service, sorted my vw where other garages couldn't.
3 weeks ago I called to arrange a test drive. Details left and was told someone would call back shortly...well still waiting. Same service from Parkway in Leicester as well. Salesman at Leicester asked, why would you want to test drive with us? My response was, because your dealer in Kettering obviously isn't interested and you are next closest dealer to us! He also claimed he would call back....
Fantastic Place - I paid a visit to this Dealership whilst on a business trip to the area and I have to say I was impressed , great selection of vehicles whether you want a car or a commercial vehicle . I have been to many dealerships before but none like this . Whilst driving down towards the car park they have a massive compound full of vehicles . This really is a massive site and I would say the envy of anyone owning a dealership - who would not want a dealership this size with space to hold 100s of vehicles on their own doorstep .... Now I havent bought a vehicle from here but writing this I have read some of the reviews and I have to say you always hear of a bad experience but never a good one . Looking more into it, this group have in their adverts they sell over 8000 vehicles per year within group so they must be doing something right however only 171 reviews now to be 172 and I am sure if they were not doing things right we would all be hearing about it . It really bugs me when I see people write something bad or try to make a business not sound too good through reviews .. Dont get me wrong you cannot please everyone and no matter what you do for some people they will never be happy but looking at one of the last reviews for instance I see a young guy has turned up looking to text drive a bmw 135i with 3 friends . Im not being funny if I owned a dealership you would not have got in the door to be honest so the fact you made it inside the building that is a bonus . Did you tell them how young you were when you decided to travel over an hour with 3 friends of the same age Im guessing to test drive a sports car which in effect is what that car is . I would question could you even afford the insurance ... Obviously all was brought to light I would say and you dont have your 135i still to this date ... people need to think before writing a review and think if you owned the business would you have done the same, maybe , maybe not and you certainly cannot judge a company from a phone call .... Anyway I was impressed , had a good look round and will have another look on my next business trip ...
Having had three terrible experiences at other garages we went into Parkway Volkswagen in Kettering and were met by the friendly and helpful Emily C. She was patient, knowledgeable and really helpful and showed us a number of cars my son might like. We ended up buying the car of his dreams which was in excellent condition and is going like a dream. I was concerned he wouldn't be able to get insurance on it and she even helped us to look that up. Fantastic customer service from start to finish. Her boss Hytham was also excellent and very helpful as was the guy that handed the car over to us (Sam - I think?).A first class customer service for me and my son after we were becoming very dis-illusioned with the motor trade based on experiences elsewhere. Well done Emily and Parkway Kettering!
Enquired over the phone about a BMW 135i that they had in and asked if I could come in for a test drive, I then later on that day drove an hour to test drive it and when I arrived I was not allowed to test drive it because of my age and it didn't look good that I arrived with 3 mates. Poor excuse if you ask me. Eventually they got their head screwed on and saw that I had genuine interest although the effort was not there from the sales executive. Overall I am disappointed with the service.
