Recently in browsing some of the cars for sale, was pleasantly surprised not to be harassed as i expected like you do at most used car centres. A young lady was more than helpful and although I did not buy a car as Im still undecided on what I want Id thoroughly recommend this place and the young lady who helped answer my questions.
Bought my latest car from here. Young sales girl was very pleasant whilst trying to get the sale. As soon as i agreed to buy the car (which i hadnt originally planned to for a couple of months) the customer service was shocking. Paid for Supaguard but this was not done before car collection as they had forgotten to do it. Luckily I checked. Paperwork was incorrect. I was given the wrong service date (due 6 months earlier than the date orginally given) answers to contract questions filled out by sales person without showing/ asking me. Needless to say the wrong address was filled out. Had to send my car back in a day after getting it to have the supaguard done, when it was returned they forgot to put the car mats and false boot fitting in so i had to return yet again. No follow up phone call recieved.Manager has given me a complimentary service in light of errors made but whole car buying experience was ruined through inadequately trained staff who do not believe in customer care past the point of sale. Managers explanation to this was that young sales people are just working for the sale and lack the experience in customer service. My response to this - develop your staff better then!Very disappointed. The receptionist was the most professional person i dealt with in the whole process (couldnt fault her customer service) who gave a genuine apology for the problems. Its a shame she didnt get the comission from the sale as she was far more deserving than the sales person who avoided speaking to me over the phone.
I've been a customer here since the 1990s with its previous incarnations and I'm very satisfied with my Hondas being serviced etc. I've never ever needed to return after a service as everything is in order. For well over 10 years now, 2 of my 3 cars visit. The classic Honda is attended to at home by this garage's best mechanic. Occasionally it's come in usually after an MOT at RS's other location as it's very rare and of interest.
